Locus Robotics is seeking a highly analytical, data-driven professional to help shape our understanding of the warehouse automation landscape. This individual will lead the development of our customer segmentation framework, whitespace analysis, and market intelligence infrastructure. Your insights will directly influence how and where we go to market.
In this role, you'll take ownership of building and maintaining a comprehensive, structured view of our total addressable market—encompassing industry verticals, customer archetypes, and subsegment penetration. You’ll also play a critical part in refining our customer and prospect data, identifying growth opportunities, and creating dashboards that inform go-to-market (GTM) strategy and long-term planning.
This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that blends tactical data management with strategic insight generation. You’ll collaborate closely with GTM teams including Sales, Marketing, and Strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed market segmentation frameworks—industry verticals, subsegments, and customer profiles.
- Own and organize customer and prospect databases, primarily in Salesforce or equivalent CRM platforms.
- Identify whitespace and expansion opportunities across core and adjacent markets.
- Define and maintain segment taxonomies, ensuring accuracy and hygiene of data for reporting purposes.
- Build and update dashboards to support GTM strategy, market coverage, and account prioritization.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research in collaboration with competitive intelligence and strategy teams.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to translate insights into actionable strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in market research, business intelligence, strategy, RevOps, or GTM roles.
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to bring structure to data from various sources.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Excel, and data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau.
- Meticulous attention to detail, strong process orientation, and a proactive mindset.
- Comfortable zooming in to manually collect data where necessary, and zooming out to identify strategic patterns.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills—you can turn complex data into actionable insights.
- Proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
