Locus Robotics, the global leader in autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for warehouse fulfillment, is looking for a US Sales Director to drive growth and expand our market presence.  The Director of Sales will lead our Sales team focused on Retail customers to drive revenue growth by developing and executing sales strategies that align with our business objectives, while also building strong relationships.

The ideal candidate is an experienced, high-energy sales leader with a proven track record of motivating and inspiring high-performance sales teams to deliver results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, and mentor a high-performing, fast-paced sales team to exceed revenue targets and drive exceptional results.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives that align with the company’s broader business objectives.
  • Oversee and optimize the sales pipeline, providing regular forecast updates and ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Drive performance by executing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans, managing business reviews, and strengthening pipeline development.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to monitor the sales funnel, support key initiatives, and refine go-to-market strategies.
  • Engage directly with clients, assisting the sales team with meetings, presentations, and high-stakes negotiations.
  • Track and enhance sales team performance by setting goals, providing feedback, and identifying training opportunities.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with retail customers and prospects, developing a deep understanding of their needs and business goals.
  • Stay ahead of the competition by analyzing market trends, challenges, and the evolving retail landscape, ensuring optimal positioning.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and other strategic engagements to expand market presence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience leading high-performing sales teams with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to train, develop, and evaluate sales teams to drive performance.
  • Proven success in managing complex, end-to-end sales cycles, consistently achieving and exceeding revenue and quota targets.
  • Experience selling to retail and supply chain providers, with a history of building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Expertise in engaging C-level and senior executives, delivering high-impact presentations and strategic sales pitches.
  • Proficient in CRM systems, with a deep understanding of data analysis and pipeline management; Salesforce experience required.
  • In-depth knowledge of the logistics and supply chain industry, with a keen awareness of market trends and challenges.
  • Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% (overnight) as needed to support sales efforts and customer
