Are you an MBA student looking to make an impact in a high-growth, cutting-edge industry? As a Summer MBA Finance Intern, you'll work closely with the Director of FP&A, as well as cross-functional teams in finance and operations, to take ownership of a key financial project from start to finish. You’ll gain hands-on experience in automation robotics and supply chain operations, learning how finance drives decision-making in a dynamic, tech-driven environment. This role offers flexibility as a U.S. remote position or a hybrid role based at Locus Robotics' headquarters in Wilmington, MA.

Responsibilities 

  • Design and implement the next-generation financial planning model for our manufacturing operations, enhancing forecasting accuracy and decision-making.
  • Develop a comprehensive operations finance KPI dashboard, integrating key operational and financial metrics into a single executive-level reporting tool.
  • Support strategic initiatives by assisting with ad hoc financial analyses and special projects as needed.
  • Deliver a high-impact presentation of the newly developed financial model to the CFO and key stakeholders at the conclusion of the internship.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an MBA or Masters in Finance or Supply Chain program.
  • Prior work experience in finance or analyst capacity in manufacturing and/or hardware technology industry.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple activities simultaneously and independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Tableau, or other data management tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
