The annual Pros to Know Awards recognize executives whose leadership and innovation are shaping the future of supply chain operations. Peterson was honored in the Leaders in Excellence category, while Chung was recognized as a Rising Star. 

This marks Peterson’s second recognition from the publication. She was previously named a Rising Star in the 2024 Pros to Know Awards.

Kait Peterson Recognized for Industry Leadership 

As Vice President and Head of Marketing, Peterson leads Locus Robotics’ global brand strategy, product positioning, and go-to-market execution across regions and verticals. With 15 years in the supply chain tech industry, her work spans product marketing, executive communications, analyst relations, digital strategy, and integrated campaigns that translate complex warehouse automation technologies into clear value for customers and partners. 

Over the past year, Peterson has led several major initiatives, including the global launch of Locus Array and the expansion of the company’s Robots-to-Goods automation category. She also spearheaded the evolution of the company’s brand positioning, aligning global communications around the themes of operational confidence and flexibility-first automation while strengthening Locus Robotics’ position in the global supply chain industry. 

In addition to her work advancing Locus Robotics’ market leadership, Peterson is known for her commitment to mentorship and leadership development across the industry. She founded Locus Ladies, a women’s employee resource group focused on mentorship and professional growth, and hosts The Feminist Exec podcast, where she interviews women leaders across technology and supply chain. 

Gina Chung Named a Rising Star 

As Vice President of Corporate Development, Chung leads strategic initiatives that shape the long-term growth and direction of Locus Robotics. Her role spans corporate strategy, product and platform direction, strategic partnerships, and global expansion of AI-driven warehouse automation. 

Chung brings more than 13 years of experience at the intersection of robotics, artificial intelligence, and supply chain innovation. Prior to joining Locus Robotics, she spent more than a decade at DHL, becoming one of the youngest vice presidents in the company’s history and helping launch the DHL Americas Innovation Center in Chicago. 

At Locus Robotics, Chung recently helped lead the strategic development and launch of Locus Array, a fully automated fulfillment system designed for high-volume operations. Her work focuses on aligning product innovation, partnerships, and market strategy to accelerate the global adoption of intelligent warehouse automation.
