Locus Robotics Named a 2026 RBR50 Robotics Innovation Award Winner for Locus Array

May 28, 2026

The company’s ninth RBR50 recognition underscores Locus Array’s role in advancing Physical AI, Robots-to-Goods automation, and autonomous fulfillment.

WILMINGTON, MA – May 28, 2026 – Locus Robotics, the leader in Flexibility-First Warehouse Automation, today announced that Locus Array has been named a winner of the 2026 RBR50 Robotics Innovation Awards by The Robot Report. The recognition marks the ninth time Locus Robotics has been honored by the RBR50 for innovation advancing the robotics industry.

The 2026 RBR50 recognition centers on Locus Array’s ability to extend warehouse automation into in aisle level workflows that have traditionally required significant manual labor, including picking, putaway, replenishment, induction, drop-off, and slotting. By applying advanced AI-driven mobile manipulation to these workflows, Locus Array gives operators a new path to automate more of the fulfillment operation without fixed infrastructure or disruptive facility redesign.

“We are honored to be recognized by the RBR50 for the work our team continues to do to advance warehouse automation,” said Rick Faulk, CEO of Locus Robotics. “Locus Array was designed to bring Physical AI and mobile manipulation into live fulfillment operations, extending automation into workflows that have traditionally remained highly manual. Recognition like this reinforces what we are seeing across the industry: autonomous fulfillment is moving from concept to operational reality inside warehouses at enterprise scale.”

This award adds to a growing series of industry recognitions for Locus Array. Earlier this year, Locus Array was named one of three finalists for the MHI Best New Innovation Award at MODEX 2026 and was recognized by Business Intelligence Group as a 2026 AI Excellence Award winner in Supply Chain & Logistics. Together, these honors reinforce Locus Array’s position as one of the industry’s most significant new automation systems for autonomous fulfillment.

Now in its 15th year, the RBR50 Robotics Innovation Awards recognize the companies, technologies, and applications moving robotics forward. The program honors not only technical achievement, but real-world impact across industries. Winners were celebrated at the RBR50 Gala during the Robotics Summit & Expo.
