As a Financial Analyst, you’ll play a key role in our central FP&A team, providing executive reporting, business forecasting, and financial analysis. You'll deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations to leadership, shape operating plans, and evaluate performance. This is an exciting opportunity to build foundational financial processes and drive impactful decision-making within a high-growth, technology-driven startup.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Locus Robotics Corporate Department leaders (HR, Finance, Legal, IT) responsible for end to end departmental financial plans, business partnership, and quarterly Oversee global headcount budgeting and reporting, collaborating across all departments.
- Own the FP&A month-end close process and act as the liaison with corporate accounting to ensure accurate, timely GAAP financials.
- Lead the creation of a centralized FP&A reporting infrastructure, ensuring secure and efficient variance-to-forecast reporting for department leaders.
- Design and implement new dashboards and reporting processes for key operating metrics.
- Identify and track KPIs, delivering ongoing visibility into critical business metrics.
- Support global FP&A planning by contributing to the development of annual and long-term financial plans, including 3-statement consolidations.
- Perform ad-hoc projects, such as developing financial models to evaluate new business initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields. MBA is a plus.
- 5+ Years of work experience in Financial Analyst or similar roles in the technology space.
- Expert proficiency in MS Excel, Financial Modeling, and experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Experience working with or implementing financial planning processes and improving those processes with new tools or optimizing tools used by finance.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to dive deep into data to analyze complex business issues.
- Strong bias for action and ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Detail oriented problem solver able to research business problems and communicate complex financial information to non-financial business partners effectively.
