2024 in Review: Top Milestones from Locus Robotics' Customers

2024 was a remarkable year for warehouse automation, and as we start 2025, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the incredible successes our customers achieved last year. At Locus Robotics, we pride ourselves on building strong partnerships that help warehouses optimize their operations and exceed their goals. This blog post highlights some of the most memorable social media moments from our customers in 2024, showcasing how Locus Robotics played a role in their journey toward greater efficiency and innovation.

Milestones Achieved

In February, FedEx achieved a milestone of 10,000,000 order lines fulfilled in just 18 months with Locus Robots.

In February, DHL launched a fleet of Locus Robots at one of their newest DHL Life Sciences & Healthcare facilities.

In May, Booktopia hit their milestone of 2,000,000 books picked with Locus Robotics.

In June, DHL celebrated their 500 millionth pick using Locus Robots! With their 6,000+ bots in production, it only took DHL 154 days to go from 400 to 500 million lines picked.

In August, Staci Americas reached a milestone by shipping 1,000,000 units with the help of Locus Robots.

KSP Fulfillment reached their 2,000,000 picks milestone in mid-October after less than two months of implementing Locus Robotics’ solution.

Also, in mid-October, Bluegrass Supply Chain hit their 1,000,000 picks milestone with the help of Locus Robotics and celebrated with a company luncheon. COO Raquel Summers shared her thoughts on this achievement: "Locus Robotics has been pivotal in driving innovation within our operations, improving training processes, and enabling hands-free picking for increased efficiency. Their technology has not only helped streamline our workflow but has also played a critical role in securing new business."

In December, GEODIS posted that they achieved a 10,000,000 units picked milestone with Locus Robotics at our 575,000-square-foot distribution center in Carlisle, PA. GEODIS and Locus Robotics have worked together since 2018, picking over 100 million units across their operations worldwide. The Carlisle milestone is part of GEODIS’ expanded agreement with Locus Robotics to deploy a total of 1,000 LocusBots at their worldwide warehouse locations over 24 months, which marked one of the industry’s largest autonomous mobile robot deals to date.

In December, UniPharma achieved a milestone of 10,000,000 picked order lines with Locus Robots.

In December, after just 20 weeks of operation, GEODIS hit a milestone of 1 million parts picked in France with Locus Robots.
